My path here was not linear. Before government health IT I spent years in live music production and artist development, working shows at rooms like the Whisky A Go Go and House of Blues, and later as an executive producer. Different industry, identical problem: creative and non-technical people, a hard deadline, a budget, and a product that either ships or fails in public. I learned to translate long before I learned to code.
I still work as an executive producer and I am a member of the Recording Academy. It is less a side note than where I learned delivery under pressure.
